Good question. Was it an interesting day or an informative day? Had the wonderful (not) pleasure of taking 3 of my feline friends to the vet for their shots. Something that must be done, something that I dread every bit as much as they do. I thought the worst part would be getting them into their respective carriers. Usually once they are at the vet, they are fine. Not today, I think they fed on each others fear. I have never heard so much howling in my life. They were being purely tortured, or so they thought. They were letting me and anyone else who would listen know about the supposed torture. This little beauty, she is 6
earned the title ” Cat from h..e..double hockey sticks”! She has never acted as bad as she did today. She hissed, growled, showed her teeth. Oh my goodness. The poor vet didn’t even try to examine her, just gave her the shots and she went back into the carrier all on her own, no coaxing needed. I tell myself this type of thing keeps the doc’s day interesting. He has something to go home and relate to his family. The other 2 were very well behaved once they met the doc (thank goodness). We were all glad to finally be home. Won’t have to go back for another 3 years!
