O.K. I made a couple of hats, now I must move on to the scarves. I found this neat crochet scarf pattern called Diamond Trail Scarf. It is a quick project and is fun to experiment with different yarns. It is also easy to make the scarf wider-after completing row 7 do a repeat of rows 4-7. I generally like my scarves skinny, so this was perfect.
This scarf was made using Caron Simply Soft Heathers in a Charcoal color using a size J hook.
This scarf was made using Bernat Softee Chunky in the color Natural with a size J hook.
This scarf was made with Red Heart in the color Watercolor and on the inside I used Caron Simply Soft in the color Plum Heather with a size I hook. I also added a scallop border just for a little something extra.
I am slowly using up some of my stash. Now I just have to make myself finish a couple of wip’s in between the new things. I just can’t seem to resist quick projects. It helps to fill up my gift drawer!
I hope you give this pattern a try. Have a happy and safe weekend!
