I have really been enjoying the warm weather that we have had the last couple of days. I keep thinking I’m ready for it to get cooler, nice warm fires, snuggly blankets and even some pretty snow (as long as I don’t have to drive in it). Every time it warms back up I change my mind! I’m beginning to think I’d like to live in a nice warm climate and then just “visit” the cold when the mood hits. Irregardless of the weather, I do not like the time change. I like the daylight in the evening. It gets so dark so early that I find myself yawning at 7:00! I just like plain longer days, I at least feel like I have more time do get things done.
So in the spirit of “cooler” weather here is another hat pattern I found. It is called the Eyelet Lace Beanie by April Paddock.
I am hooked on easy, quick, fun projects. I used Moda-Dea Tweedle Dee in the color Blackberry and size 10-1/2 needles. The yarn is darker than it shows in this picture. I followed the pattern but didn’t do quite as many rows. Another pattern that I put in the “strongly like – will probably make again” category.
