I just finished my Boxy Lady Project Bag by pdxWoman. Right now this project is only available on Ravelry. I can’t say enough about how much I like it. The size is perfect for me for smaller projects. It works up to about 8″ square.
The lining is easy to do. I cut five, 8-1/2 squares of fabric, applied an iron on fabric stiffener and then sewed them together and placed in the bag and hand sewed the top. Perfect.
I made the bag with Peaches & Creme Mountain Shadows and a G hook. I had a cone of this yarn and it used quite a bit of it, about half. The only changes I made to the pattern were personal preference. I didn’t join each round, I just crocheted around continuously, I like to see how different yarns pool. I attached the d-rings in the last row of sc, and I used an i-cord handle.
