I have had a need to make several hats. So these are the ones I’ve completed.
This one was needed to add to a baby shower gift
I used Lily Sugar’n Cream Twists in a Rose Twist color and a size 8 needle. It is called On The Sunny Side by Melanie Hoffman.
The next two hats were made for a sweet young lady who is will be undergoing Chemo this week.
I used Caron Simply Soft in Deep Plum and size 7 & 9 needles. I worked this hat in the round instead of flat. It is called Inside Out Chemo Hat by Joyce Forker
I used Knit Picks Shine Sport in the color Crocus and size 7 needles. This is the first time I used this yarn and I really like it. The pattern is Lace-Edged Womans Hat by Julie Hentz.
This hat was made to use up some yarn that I bought that I thought looked nice on the skein, but everytime I went to make something with it I just didn’t care for it. I figure someone always needs a hat.
I used Universal Yarn Classic Long Print in the color Cafe Latte and a size 8 needle. The pattern is Vanilla Twist Hat by Jaala Spiro and is published on-line in Knit Circus Magazine, scroll down to the bottom of this page, it is a free web extra. It is also a free download on Ravelry.
Happy Hat Making!
