Friday and the 1st of May! We are in our 3rd day of rain and cloudiness. When the sun comes back out all of the flowers will probably burst out. Everything is so incredibly green right now.
Spring gives me such a sense of peace.
I recently purchased Garter Lace Scarf by Eveyln A. Clark. What a fun pattern this is. The pattern comes with three variations and can be made in a multiple weight of yarns. Great one-skein, partial skein stash buster!
This scarf is called Eyelet Lace Scarf. I used Berroco Comfort Sock Yarn about 1/2 skein and size 7 needles.
This scarf is called Triple Eyelet Border Scarf. I used less than a skein of Universal Yarn Classic Shades and size 10 needles. Using worsted weight is a very quick knit.
I used a very small amount of Patons Kroy Socks yarn and size 1-1/2 needles. It’s hard to see but I used size 6 seed beads instead of doing the berries. Next time I think I’ll use a larger bead for fun. I wet blocked these and used some spray starch to help them hold their shape.
I hope you all have a safe, fun, and creative weekend!
